Leonard Cohen’s Sister Esther Cohen is a Fan of Conspiracy of Beards! #throwbackthursday

Conspiracy of Beards has traveled to New York City annually for the last 6 years for a show at the Highline Ballroom, and every year Esther Cohen, Leonard Cohen‘s sister, and her friends have come to our performance. Esther is one of the sweetest and most supportive fans of the choir. This year the choir decided to focus on touring the greater Bay Area and to skip the NY trip. Our only regret is not being able to serenade our friend Esther. Here is a short clip of Esther from our documentary project “A Midnight Choir.”

Fellow Barber Shop

Lit Crawl
Saturday, October 19th – 7pm
The Beards singing in a barber shop? Yep, and one of us might even get a trim. We will be performing at Fellow Barber Shop (F.S.C. We go on at about 7pm as part of phase two of Lit Crawl.Lit Crawl 2013, spread over more than three hours, will host live readings of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and more in bookstores, bars, art galleries, restaurants, stores, cafés, a bowling alley, and community spaces.Join the Facebook Event Page for this performance.
